Rapid Relief for Stiffness, Muscle Tension & Trigger Points

Stiffness and pain from tired and tight muscles is a nearly inevitable side-effect of living in a modern society. Some of our lives encompass more sitting and staring at screens than is optimal and our neck, shoulders and backs, sooner or later, let us know that that’s not what they’re made for. Other people have to deal with daily repetitive and often stressful or strenuous work and feel it in their muscles and bones sooner or later.

The resulting pain and stiffness is often a result of built up tension causing sore and inflexible muscles, joints that feel hard to move and achy as well as sooner or later leading to other complaints such as headaches, sciatica and, in the long run, increased wear and tear.

Through hands-on treatment and guidance on how to find relief and balance from the taxing and strenuous demands of day-to-day life we can often provide significant relief within a small number of treatments.

To help relieve your muscle stiffness, tension and pain, we may use techniques such as soft-tissue manipulation and myofascial releases (similar to remedial massage), dry needling (assessed as an option case by case), balancing of ligamentous tension (gentle joint releasing techniques), muscle energy techniques as well as various joint manipulation techniques, depending on your needs, wishes and comfort levels with the techniques.
