Terms and Conditions
These terms are in place to ensure a fair exchange between you and Jo Martin Osteopathy. Please read them carefully, as they are essential and non-negotiable.Appointment Booking
When you book an appointment, you are reserving a specific time slot, not a particular service within that time. This creates a binding agreement that can only be amended by mutual agreement or as outlined in these terms.Payment Obligation
The responsibility to pay for your appointment lies with you unless it is canceled by us. This applies even if unforeseen circumstances, such as illness, prevent you from attending. Think of it like booking a hotel room: the room is reserved for you whether or not you check in. You are welcome to send someone else in your place if you cannot attend. Please understand that no exceptions are made, and all debt recovery options remain available.Appointment Cancellations
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, at least 24 hours’ notice is required. If you cancel late or do not attend, the full fee will be charged unless we are able to fill the time slot. You may send someone else to attend in your place.Payment Method
A valid payment method (credit/debit card or PayPal) is required when booking to secure your appointment. This method may be charged in cases of no-shows, overdue payments, remote consultations, or any payment agreed upon by both parties. Your payment details are securely protected. We will send you a courtesy reminder 48 hours before your appointment. However, it remains your responsibility to remember and attend all confirmed appointments.Rescheduling Appointments
You can reschedule confirmed appointments using the link in your booking confirmation email or your 48-hour reminder email.Health and Safety
If you are feeling unwell or have been exposed to illness, we kindly ask that you consider wearing a mask to protect others.Late Arrivals
If you are running late, please let us know as soon as possible. If we have not heard from you within 5–10 minutes of your appointment start time, we will attempt to contact you. If you do not attend or contact us by the end of the business day (5 pm), the outstanding fee may be charged to your payment method.Appointments for Minors
Parents or guardians are responsible for settling any outstanding fees for appointments booked on behalf of minors.Overrunning Appointments
If your appointment starts late due to our delay, we will ensure you receive the full time booked. If this is not possible, we will either make up the time at your next appointment or adjust the fee accordingly.Cancellations by Us
If we need to cancel your appointment, we will notify you as soon as possible and work with you to arrange a suitable alternative.Private Health Insurance Rebates
Rebate amounts are determined by your insurer and are outside of our control. It is your responsibility to claim them directly, as we do not offer on-the-spot claiming through HICAPS.
